I had a great experience with Heather regarding help with my little 4 month old. I had a virtual appointment with Heather as this was the easiest for me and it was still very thorough and helpful. I would highly recommend to other mothers if they are experiencing sudden issues with breastfeeding your baby. Heather took the time to listen to all of my problems and concerns and work through them as well as offer further support if I needed it. It gave me peace of mind speaking with a professional and having her support if I needed it.

Heather is amazing!! She came to our home when my baby was only 4 days old and saved our breastfeeding journey. I was having a lot of issues with latch and healing, and Heather had so many different tools and strategies to help us succeed. She left us feeling confident and supported, and was still there for us in the days and weeks to follow. Highly, highly recommend!

We first met Heather back in 2019 when she led our private prenatal class with a few of our friends. Her gentle, yet confident and easy going personality allowed us to feel comfortable and learn all we could throughout her course. She never made us feel judged for asking questions that may have been obvious and you could tell she genuinely was there to support you. We worked with her as well once our first was born when we needed some support with fostering routines and helping navigate some feeding and digestive issues our little guy had while trying to help him sleep at the same time. Her ability to personalize her approach and not approach everything with a narrow lens was one thing that really stood out for us. She wanted to make sure we worked together to find solutions that fostered our beliefs and values and that we felt good about it. Even after our services were through she was always there for a quick check in or reassurance. She always went above and beyond and continued to do so. Fast forward to May 2022..we knew that as soon as our second was born we wanted to connect again with her. lWe had her help us navigate some nursing challenges and an overall newborn assessment to make sure we were set up for success. Once again the feeling of support and zero judgement was what stood out above everything else. Heather is super knowledgeable but more importantly she cares a lot about her patients/clients. Having her support us through two babies, I would very much recommend her as both a lactation consultant and overall a mama coach to help navigate the newborn/first year challenges.

Heather is a super knowledgable and empathetic LC. My son had tongue, lip & buccal revisions done and we saw Heather Stobbe (LC) for follow-up. She has extra training in oral ties and had specific exercises for my son to work on suck coordination. She also directly corresponded with my son's dentist so the interdisciplinary care she initiated was excellent.Nursing did not work for us BUT the LC follow up was still super valuable. My son can now bottle feed without clicking and swallowing air. And he’s taken to solids very well and appears to have good oral function when eating (no choking!).Throughout our feeding journey Heather helped me create feeding plans that aligned with my goals while also being realistic in terms of time & energy & in consideration of the importance of my mental health. Besides latching support, she had great tips for pumping as our feeding plan transitioned from pumping/bottle feeding with 1-2 nursing sessions to exclusively pumping and bottle feeding. She also has knowledge regarding formula and assisted in helping us find one my son would tolerate for supplementation.
